Update to MFA in isolved
Email authentication will no longer be accepted starting week of 10/6/2025.
Due to an increase in fraudulent activity, isolved let us know with the 11.8 release that an MFA update was in the pipeline to remove the option to use an email address as a method of authentication for client users when logging into the platform.
As part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding your employee and client information, PremierNow will be updating all client user accounts during the week of 10/6/2025 to a security level in accordance with isolved data security protocols.
What this means for you
Your own login
Starting the week of 10/6, client users will be moved to the level of MEDIUM SECURITY by PremierNow. The following will be acceptable means of verification:
- Passkey
- Authenticator App
- SMS (Text Message)
Action Required: Set up an alternative method of authentication. Follow these instructions for assistance in setting up an authenticator app. If you have any questions on setting up an alternative method, email [email protected].
Your employees' logins
As a client, you NOW have control over the level of security you require for your employees to log in.
We encourage you to upgrade the security level to Medium by going to CLIENT MANAGEMENT > CLIENT UTILTIES > ESS SETTINGS > ESS MULTI-FACTOR AUTHETICATION, then select MEDIUM SECURITY and click SAVE in the black action bar.
In addition to the texts that are now required when employees change their direct deposit information, Medium Security will help protect from fraudsters taking over logins since email authentication codes will be prohibited.
